EDU 360. Second Language Acquisition and Development 3-0-3
This course is an introduction to the processes involved in learning a second (foreign or additional) language. It explores the different factors that influence these processes such as individual differences, interlanguage development, cross-linguistic influences, and social dimension of learning. This course also discusses the different perspectives that can be used to explain the acquisition of second languages and, finally, consider different second language teaching approaches.
