Survival value of animal behavior from an evolutionary perspective; optimization, aggression, mate choice, parental care, communication and altruism. Labs will focus on data gathering techniques, classic animal behavior, experiments, field trips and a student-generated behaviorally-based project. PR: BIO 305 and RHW 102 or CI.
